1. Poet Study–You should continue working toward your first draft (due 6/5).
2. High School poems are due next Wednesday!
1. PBA–Detailed outlines are due Tuesday. To receive full credit here, your outline should be formatted exactly like this exemplary outline on No Exit and Waiting for Godot. Yes, it should also be typed.
2. Waiting for Godot–Complete the play for Wednesday (10H) and Thursday (10B). There will be a closing quiz.
1. Waiting for Godot–Read up to p. 67 (stop when Pozzo reenters!) As you read Act II, look for subtle changes from Act I (among other things).
2. Class Forum–Here you will post the first draft of your thesis and the revised version! Please post the two in one response to the thread. Leave a space between them.
1. Steppenwolf–Read and annotate up to p. 190.
2. PBA Due Dates:
Insight Paper:
Due 6/1
Independent Research Paper:
First Draft due 6/5
Final Draft due 6/9
1. Come up with a topic that you feel strongly about and watch 3 spoken word poems on your topic. Take notes on presentation tools that each performer used (what was most effective? What made them different?)
Also, due Thursday, a spoken word poem on that subject! For heading purposes, this is poem #10.
