HW due 12/7: Imagism

Closely read and annotate the poem you received in class.  Then, based
on this reading, take a guess at which prompt their poem was inspired
by.  Here is the list of prompts from class:

Time slipping by.
Silence.
The feeling you get when you kiss someone you love.
Days that aren’t long enough.
Betrayal.
Feeling of gratitude.
Anger, a lump in your throat.
Confusion about losing a loved one.
The unknown of the future.
Relaxation.
Happiness.

If the person wrote their prompt at the top of the page, then write
down what the poem made you feel and if that matches with their
prompt.  From the poem, what gives you this feeling? What details in
their imagery are particularly powerful?

Additionally, jot down any constructive criticism you may have for
them so they can make their poem more imagist based on what you
learned in class.  If their poem is downright amazing, give them some
praise!  This is NOT an explication, but rather an informal response
to the poem you have.  Think of it as a letter to your poetry pal.  We
will discuss this activity in class on Monday.  Lastly, make sure it
is typed and STAPLE THE POEM TO YOUR LETTER!!
